The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, and police in Rock Hill and Fort Mill all assisted in the investigation, YCSO said.
It’s an area that York County deputies said they patrol often.
“We’ve been patrolling this area for multiple years. This is one of our hot spots and we try to help prevent these types of things from occurring in the first place,” Deputy Trent Faris said.
Channel 9 saw several crime scene investigators surrounding a car, with what appeared to be a bullet hole, at the scene Monday.
We’re asking what led up to the violence.
