1 — Explore a winter culture festival
Wanuskewin Heritage Park‘s annual Nutrien Kôna Winter Festival was extended to five days this year. Celebrate Indigenous culture while exploring the site and learning traditional teachings. Festival activities include cultural education and demonstrations, Indigenous guest presenters, storytelling, dance performances, and indoor and outdoor games. The last day of the festival is Friday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the park. Learn more at wanuskewin.com.

2 — Get out to a tribute show
Saskatoon’s Legendary Rhythm & Blues REVUE performs Moondance: The Music of Van Morrison. The tribute show features songs from across the influential Irish singer-songwriter’s nearly 70-year career. The show has two runs, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at The Bassment. Learn more at thebassment.ca.
3 — Celebrate the moon
The Saskatchewan Craft Council presents the group exhibition Lunar Lore. The show features works inspired by the moon in fibre, ceramics and sculpture by Saskatchewan artists Savannah Holt, Zoë Schneider and Hanna Yokozawa Farquharson. Themes of cyclicality, time, consistency and ritual give visitors a glimpse at the moon’s emotional and cultural impact. The exhibition runs to April 26, with an opening reception Saturday at 2 p.m. at the SCC Gallery. Learn more at saskcraftcouncil.org.
4 — Enjoy a laugh
Canada’s biggest tour, the Snowed in Comedy Tour, is now in its 16th year. It stops in Saskatoon as one of 70 host cities across the country. The show features four international comedians, returning home to perform together. Founder Dan Quinn is joined by Paul Myrehaug, Erica Sigurdson and Pete Sedlacher. The show is at the Broadway Theatre Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Learn more at broadwaytheatre.ca.

5 — Show community support to Ukraine
Join local organizations in supporting Ukraine as they mark the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale attack. Four events are planned over three days. Learn more at mumsaskatoon.com.
On Saturday, the Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Saskatoon Branch hosts a car rally at Bethlehem Catholic High School at 1 p.m., followed by a program and reception.
Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Musée Ukraina Museum hosts an opening reception for the exhibition Destroyed Temples of Ukraine, exploring the destruction of Ukraine’s sacred architecture and cultural heritage.
On Monday, reflect and remember at a 12:30 p.m. vigil at St. Thomas More College Chapel, hosted by the Prairie Centre for the Study of Ukrainian Heritage and the Ukrainian Student’s Association. Then take part in a come-and-go gathering with tea and refreshments, hosted by the Ukrainian Museum of Canada, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum’s exhibition The War That Changes Everything will also be on view.
