Ontario Premier Doug Ford was unharmed after an OPP vehicle he was travelling in was involved in a collision on Highway 401.

It is not known exactly where the crash occurred, however Ford was in Courtice earlier today for an announcement where he pitched an energy partnership with the U.S.

“The premier and the staff and OPP officers who were in the vehicle with him are safe,” said Grace Lee, a spokesperson from Ford’s office, in an email to CTV News Toronto.

“The driver of the other involved vehicle is believed to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is being treated accordingly.”
