Elon Musk’s Tesla is recalling more than 46,000 of its Cybertruck vehicles over a safety issue relating to a panel that can detach while driving. Tesla reported the issue to the NHTSA.
The recall includes all 2024 and 2025 Cybertruck vehicles manufactured from November 13, 2023, to February 27, 2025. The total number of affected vehicles is 46,096, though just 1 percent of those are estimated to be affected by the defect.
