West Ham agree deal to sign former Chelsea and Arsenal target

West Ham have agreed a deal with Brighton to sign former Arsenal and Chelsea target Evan Ferguson on loan.
Sky Sports say Ferguson, 20, is set to travel to the London Stadium on Sunday to complete his medical.
At West Ham, Ferguson will be reunited with new Hammers boss Graham Potter, who gave him his debut at Brighton.
Ferguson, once regarded as one of the most highly-rated strikers in the Premier League, will spend the rest of the season on loan at West Ham.
The Republic of Ireland international has 17 Premier League goals but just one this season as he has been forced to play back-up to Georginio Rutter and Danny Welbeck.
Once linked with some of the biggest clubs in the Premier League – including Chelsea and Arsenal – Ferguson is now in need for some regular game-time as he looks to revive his career.
Chelsea and Arsenal have been monitoring Ferguson’s development over the past 12 months, with the Gunners in desperate need for a new striker.

But West Ham, also in need for some attacking reinforcements, have won the race to sign Ferguson on loan for the rest of the rest.
