WH Smith name to disappear from high streets after sale

In recent years the likes of Woolworths, Topshop and Debenhams have disappeared from our high streets. All once mighty retail outlets boasting thousands of stores.

Now another name, W.H. Smith, which began life back in the eighteenth century, is about to join the list of the disappeared.
