‘You’re not in trouble’: Police appeal after man missing for nine days

Alex, who is 35, was last seen at approximately midday on Thursday, February 6 February outside the Penny Black Pub in Sheep Street, Bicester.

He was first reported missing to Thames Valley Police on Sunday, February 9.

Searches have been ongoing for Alex, who last name has not been released by police, since he was reported missing.

Alex has been described as being approximately 5ft 8ins tall with a shaved head and wears glasses.

He is of medium build with blue eyes and may have some stubble.

Police state that he also has a Tottenham Hotspur tattoo on the top of one of his arms and his daughter’s names on his forearm.

Alex has links to Portsmouth.

Chief Superintendent Emma Garside said: “Alex has been missing for nine days, and since he was reported missing to us last Sunday, searches have been ongoing to find him; but unfortunately, we have not been able to do so.

“As a result, I am now issuing a public appeal and would ask anybody who knows of his whereabouts to please report this to us via our dedicated missing persons’ portal, quoting reference 1269.

“If you see Alex, I would ask you to call us on 999 immediately. I would also like to appeal directly to Alex, if you see this appeal.

“You’re not in any trouble, but your family, and we, are concerned for. Please make contact with us to let us know where you are.”
